Card Sketch #170

Ok,  thought I would do another card for the card sketch challenge.   I love nautical stuff and when My Favorite Things came out with the adorable Nautical Fishnet Coverall and the Go Overboard Stamp set and dies  knew I had to have it!!!!

Here is the sketch

I took liberty on the interpretation of the sketch.  Instead of the square middle panel, I used the Porthole and the Compass.    Instead of the two banner to the left I did a sentiment that was 2 lines and added small red tabs on the side.   It is a little hard to see in the photo, but in the porthole screws holes (or what ever they are called) I added those Starform glitter dots in ruby and gold.  I Love those stickers.  They add just a little bit of sparkle and pizzazz to the card.

Here is another card for the Simon Says card challenge….   Oh how I struggled!!  I fight glue every time I use it, either it is not enough or it is way too much.   Darn it.  So there are some goobers on the card, but nothing in life is perfect, and neither is this card!   LOL.

I wanted to make a card that is bright!!!  So I used the wonderful tiny flags stamp from Hero Arts and used bright distress ink!!!!  And boy is it bright, but I LOVE it!!!!

Wanted to try the My Favortie Things Sketch Challenge #170.  I just have recently started to purchase stuff from My Favorite Things….dang I missed some good stuff!!!!  Where in the heck was I???  They have some awesome stuff.
